Farbod Karimi, EdD, is the founder and principal of Odyssey Consulting. He brings more than 27 years of experience in post-secondary education to helping institutions and organizations design learning programs that are well built, accessible and ready for quality review. Farbod has worked across the full range of academic roles: professor, Academic Chair in the School of Business, Chair of Learning and Teaching Services, and Interim Dean at Algonquin College. He knows how programs are built, reviewed and approved from the inside, and he knows what makes them work for learners and for faculty. Farbod holds a Doctor of Education from the University of San Francisco. He works with clients across Canada and the United States from his base in Ottawa I started Odyssey after more than 27 years in post-secondary education as a professor, academic chair, teaching and learning centre leader, and dean. Every engagement draws on that experience with academic standards, ministry requirements, and what makes a course work for learners.
